Deep Yin & Didgeridoo Sound Bath
with Anne Marie and Gregg Chapman
Come and meet Aussie, Gregg Chapman and his amazing healing didgeridoos and be immersed in a sound bath!
We will start the session with some deep Yin yoga accompanied by the Didgeridoo, letting the body and mind become immersed in the vibes. Following this practice, a 45-minute Savasana will leave you bathing in the sound...
Some time will be allocated for an introduction to Gregg and the Didgeridoo, as well as for coming back to reality and sharing your experience.
The ancient Australian didgeridoo is a powerful healing tool that works on the mental, physical and the spiritual to bring you into vibrational alignment with who you really want to be. Everything is interconnected through energy as we are energy beings and the didge is really beneficial for bringing your mind to focus, relaxation and to inspire your creativity. How it does this is through scientific principles of brainwave entrainment. The didge is creating a portal of energy or a space of energy and it is up to you as to how want to use that energy. Is it for healing physical aches and pains? Is it for creativity or clarity? Or is to get your energy into alignment with who you really want to be. The choice is yours…
Bring along your yoga mat, blankets, cushions with an open mind and Get Didged!
More about Gregg Chapman:
"Ten years ago, I discovered at a backyard barbecue that the didgeridoo could miraculously heal pain on a friend who had been in a car accident. How bizarre I thought!! So I started providing didgeridoo sound therapy and healing sessions and have had countless miraculous results with reducing pain and stress for clients and particularly children with disabilities.
What I find fascinating is that when I play the didgeridoo, I have this certainty in who I am, expansion and a feeling of inter-connectedness. This is what the didgeridoo is all about as it is considered to be one of the oldest woodwind instruments in the world and holds very important spiritual and cultural values for the Aboriginal people of Australia. The Didgeridoo provides you with an opportunity to experience energy and how you are are interconnected. It helps to bring you into vibrational alignment with what you really want and clears the fears out of the way which gives your creativity the opportunity to shine.
I am all about inspiring people to be the best they can be no matter how weird, wacky or wonderful they are and I believe that we all have a gift to share with the world.

Join guest teacher and handstand enthusiast Dana Baniel, for this 2 hours 'play-shop' and learn the tools to go upside down.
Suitable for beginners and more experienced students, this workshop will take a systematic approach to trying, achieving and improving your handstand within a playful and supportive environment.
For many of us, the handstand is the scariest of inversions. This workshop will help you to overcome this fear, capturing a feeling of childhood playfulness and sense of freedom.
Working towards handstand is a gradual and integrated process where you build the foundations over time, with patience and care whilst learning to overcome our fears and physical barriers. You will leave this workshop with the knowledge of how to improve your strength, agility, flexibility and power so you can learn to fly.
Already, in handstand? Come along, perfect your alignment and have a fun and uplifting experience.
Outline of the workshop:-
- Introduction - Lovely warmup and strong warming pranayama (kapabahti) - Juicy flow practice focusing on core, hamstrings and shoulders. - Alignment. - 'So how do I actually get there?' Working with the wall, pairs and having fun doing cartwheels and jumps etc. - Closing up sequence, stretch and a lovely savasana.
Join Dana on December 2nd, from 12-2pm in the Dharma Studio at Edgedale Road.
