Use of the Website

Information on this website is here for your use and is updated regularly, therefore we recommend that you check back to make sure you have the most up-to-date information. Although the site is accurate and complete to the best of our knowledge, given that we are human, mistakes will happen on occasion, and therefore, no guarantee of the information can be given. Also note that we are not liable for the use of the information on this site, so consider this to be a ‘use at your own risk’ sign. If you choose not to accept these terms, we recommend that you do not use the site.

Class Pass Expiry

Any unused classes remaining after the expiry date will be void. Note the expiry dates below.
5 and 10 Class Passes – 1 year from the date of purchase
30 days unlimited - 30 days from date of first use

Monthly Memberships (Unlimited - Ananda/Bliss, 5 classes/month - Santosha/Contentment) - Paid by Direct Debit (Card Purchase)

Minimum of 6 months
14 days written notice to cancel
Free suspension for up to 60 days per calendar year (7 days minimum at a time)
Additional days can be purchased for £10 for up to 30 days

This is a contractual agreement. 

£45 early termination fee applies.

All communications about membership terminations and suspensions must be in writing (email).


Refund and Cancellations

You are responsible for choosing your class passes and memberships wisely.  We recommend you consider whether a change of mind and/or change in circumstances may occur before purchasing.  All purchases (such as passes and packages for classes and events) are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Extenuating circumstances need to be communicated to Management in writing.

Private classes are not confirmed until they are paid in full. At least 24 hrs notice must be given to postpone or cancel a private class, any less time than this will result in you forfeiting the session.

Online Reservations

Class size is limited to 18 people at Commonside and 38 at Edgedale.  We operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

For all general level classes (vinayasa, hatha, yin) there are ample places available to be reserved online.

An online reservation holds a place only until 10 minutes prior to class. After that time, it becomes available to anyone waiting for a place. Therefore, if you arrive less than 10 minutes before the start of class, then you are not guaranteed a place and you will be charged for it.

Cancellation of an online reservation must be done by yourself at least 3 hours before the start of the class via the online system, and not via telephone, email or text. Cancellations and absences after this time will be charged: meaning the class will be deducted from your total remaining class pass.

If you have an unlimited pass/membership, 3 or more absences per calendar month may incur a £15 fee charged to your account, or the ability book in advance may be removed.  This is considered an abuse of the booking system, and leaves no opportunity for others to take that spot.

Abuse and harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

If this Code of Conduct is seen to be violated by any studio member or staff, the incident should be reported to Management within 24 hours. Incident reports can only be filed by those who have direct experience to a violation.

The report will be submitted to the Studio Managers who will review the information and contact the parties involved to assess the situation.

It follows that if the situation cannot be mediated or resolved by management, all parties involved may be suspended from Hot Yoga Sheffield classes and events until the matter is resolved.

Anyone found to be violating this Code of Conduct may have their membership/class pass terminated without a refund.
