Growing up with a fast-paced, constant-driving, coffee-drinking, standard New York diet and lifestyle kept me frazzled and depressed. Finding the discipline of yoga was the perfect calling to bring energizing activity, compassionate thinking, and spiritual vitality back to my life.

We will flow through some warm ups and poses from the Dharma Yoga Wheel sequences. This will enable you to learn how to warm up properly using the wheel, and explore the areas of your body that will receive the most benefit from the DYW.
This beautiful tool was created by Sri Dharma Mittra, enjoyed by many of his students at the center in New York, and is now marketed by his son, Yogi Varuna for worldwide use. While it is specifically aimed at loosening the back muscles and offering a support for developing backbends, the DYW is a Yogi’s best friend for support in a variety of postures.
